Cromar Creotreat - Black - 20L

Description

Cromar Creotreat is a petroleum-based timber treatment and stain, used to rejuvenate the colour of timber, whilst protecting against fungal attack.

Preparation

• Make sure the timber to be treated with Cromar Creotreat is dry
• Sand the timber, so that old varnish/paint cannot inhibit penetration of the treatment
• Remove rotten timber before treatment

Application

• Stir the treatment thoroughly before use
• Treatment can be applied by brush or spray
• Apply two coats of Cromar Creotreat, allowing time between coats for drying
• Ensure joints and end grain are totally saturated, which can be done by brush, spray, or by dipping the timber into the treatment for around ten minutes

Limitations

• Avoid contacts with vegetation
• Not suitable for over-painting or varnishing, following treatment
• Read all safety information on the container before commencing use

Ensure brushes are throughly cleaned after use, preferable using white spirit, following by some washing-up liquid.
